Download & Installation

Download and install SIDRA INTERSECTION on your computer.

How to Download

Download the software from your STORE account:

  1. Sign in to your STORE account

  2. Access the Licence Details page

    • In the Product column, click on INTERSECTION 10 NETWORK / <x>

  3. Download the installer

    • Click INTERSECTION 10 under Downloads to save the setup file

  4. Install SIDRA INTERSECTION

    • Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts

How to Install

Before you begin

  • You must be logged in with administrator rights on the computer
  • The computer must meet the system requirements

Installation steps

  1. Run SIDRAINTERSECTION10Setup.exe to install. The setup file contains all installation files and can set up prerequisites if required.

  2. Follow the dialog boxes and click Next to proceed through each step.

  3. When the Default Software Setup dialog appears, select your preferred defaults:

    Software Setup Description
    Standard Left For driving on the left (Australia and similar countries)
    Standard Right For driving on the right (Europe, Canada, etc.)
    New Zealand Special defaults for New Zealand
    US HCM (Metric) Highway Capacity Manual version with metric units
    US HCM (Customary) Highway Capacity Manual version with US customary units
    New South Wales Special model for NSW, Australia

    Tip

    You can change this later in Settings tab > Software Setup dropdown.

  4. The Software Update Options dialog will appear. If disabled by the Administrator, users cannot access Check for Updates or automatic updates.

  5. For FLOATING Licence users (Windows 10 or later): Select a web browser for signing in to your FLOATING Licence account. Choose either Embedded or User Default browser.

  6. The program files will install to C:\Program Files\SIDRA SOLUTIONS (or your chosen location).

After installation

  • A SIDRA INTERSECTION icon will appear on your desktop
  • A new program SIDRA INTERSECTION 10 will be created under SIDRA SOLUTIONS in Start > All Programs
  • Double-click the desktop icon to run the software

Note

You do not need to uninstall earlier versions before installing Version 10.

Silent Installation

For IT administrators installing on multiple computers, SIDRA INTERSECTION supports standard Windows Installer command-line parameters for silent installation with no UI.

This approach requires passing installation parameters via command-line for settings like Default Model and licensing options.
