Activation

How to activate your 1PC licence on a single computer.

Online Activation

Online activation is the preferred and simplest method.

Steps

  1. Run the software.
  2. Click the Licensing Tab in the ribbon.
  3. Select the 1PC option (radio button), then click Activate in the 1PC Licence group.
  4. In the Activate Licence dialog, select Online Activation.
  5. Enter your Licence ID, Password and Installation Name (optional — e.g. your computer name).
  6. If you need to enable a Proxy Server, specify it in the Online Activation group.
  7. Click Activate.
  8. Wait for processing to complete.
  9. If you see "Licence is activated successfully", click OK to start using the software.

Licence Information

When successfully licensed:

  • An unlock icon appears at the bottom right corner of the interface
  • Your Customer ID, Company Name and Licence Type appear on the status bar (bottom right)
  • Your details appear in Software Info or About dialog under the File button

Offline Activation

Use Online Activation if possible

Offline Activation is not the preferred method. You should attempt to resolve any Internet access problems before using this method.

When you have to use the Offline Activation method, you need to use the software and the SIDRA SOLUTIONS web page at the same time. You can open the web page on a different computer if the computer you are activating does not have Internet access.

Steps

  1. Run the software.
  2. Click the Licensing Tab in the ribbon.
  3. Select 1PC (radio button), then click Activate Licence.
  4. In the Activate Licence dialog, select Offline Activation.
  5. Enter the Licence ID, Password and Installation Name (optional).
  6. The dialog will display two codes — keep this dialog open.
  7. On a computer with Internet access, go to your STORE Account and log in.
  8. Click on the licence you wish to activate.
  9. Click on the Offline Activation link.
  10. Enter the two codes displayed in the software dialog and click Submit.
  11. If successful, a Licence ID and Registration Code will be displayed on the web page.
  12. Enter the Licence ID and Registration Code into the software dialog.
  13. Click Activate.
  14. If you see "Licence is activated successfully", click OK to start using the software.
