Activation

How to activate your Subscription licence for SIDRA INTERSECTION 11.

Subscription licences use the CLOUD licensing system. To start using the software, you need to sign in to your User Profile and acquire a Licence Seat.

Before You Begin

After purchasing a Subscription licence, you will receive an email from SIDRA Support containing your licence details and a download link for SIDRA INTERSECTION. This is different from 1PC and FLOATING licences, which are managed through a STORE Account.

Make sure you have received this email before proceeding. If you have not received it, contact SIDRA Support.

For instructions on downloading and installing the software, see Installation — Download.

Personal Subscription

With a Personal Subscription licence, you manage your licence individually.

  1. Open SIDRA INTERSECTION — the Licensing tab will appear if unlicenced.
  2. Select CLOUD in the Licence Type group.
  3. The User Profile dialog will open. Click Sign in.
  4. Complete the sign-in process in your web browser, then click OK to close the dialog.
  5. The Acquire Licence Seat dialog will open. Select your licence and click OK.

If successful, an unlocked padlock icon appears at the bottom right of the interface.

Team Subscription

Team Subscription licences are organisational licences managed by an Administrator. If you do not have a User Profile account, contact your IT Manager or SIDRA Licence Contact.

The sign-in and seat acquisition process for Team Subscription is the same as for FLOATING licences. Follow the instructions on the FLOATING Licence — End Users page, starting from Accept Your Invitation (if you are a new user) or Sign In to Your SIDRA User Profile (if your account is already set up).

Licence Seat Settings

After acquiring a seat, you can modify your settings through the Acquire Seat command in the Licensing ribbon:

  • Online / Offline — An Offline Licence Seat allows you to use SIDRA INTERSECTION without an internet connection. The seat is reserved for a set duration (1, 7, 14, or 30 days) and is not released by closing the software.
  • Model Level — Change between PLUS and NETWORK model levels if your licence includes access to a different level.
